New Delhi: Indian staunch bank is going to make big changes in its two services. The bank has made a big change by checking the check book and bank account. SBI customers will not be able to use check book older than December 12. For this, SBI has started sending messages to consumers to surrender an old check book and to send a new check book.

Banks have been asked to stop using non-CTS check books from January 1, 2019, 3 months ago by the RBI. The bank is going to close such check books by following RBI guidelines. Apart from SBI, Punjab National Bank has also announced to stop the use of old check books.

Apart from this, SBI has also given a big gift to customers using NetBanking. SBI customers can now transfer their account to another branch in just five minutes. This requires the customer to be using online banking. Customers who have KYC updates and mobile number registered will be able to avail this service through NetBanking.
