The Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSHSEB) has released the academic calendar for the year 2023-24, starting from June 1. The Class 10 and 12 exams will occur between March 11 to March 28, 2024, while the supplementary exams commence on July 10 until July 14. The first exam for Class 9-12 will occur from October 3-12, with preliminary exams between January 29-February 7, 2024.

The Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSHSEB) has announced the academic calendar for the year 2023-24 that begins from June 1. The board will conduct Class 10 and 12 exams from March 11 to March 28, 2024.

A statement from the board states that the supplementary examinations for Class 10-12 will begin from July 10 and end on July 14. The supplementary exams are for students who have failed in one or two subjects in their final examination.

The first exam for Class 9-12 will be conducted during October 3-12, the preliminary exams will be held during January 29-February 7, 2024. The board will conduct a talent search exam for Class 9 students on February 9. The practical exams for Class 12 science stream students will be conducted during February 19- 27, 2024.

As per the above subject, the details of the school activity calendar for academic year 3-5 are sent as per the approval of the government on the file received here. These include the days of the academic session, the details of the school examination, instructions on the exams, the days of the vacation, the details of the public holidays as well as the details of the examinations of the Board of Standard-10 and 12. If any changes are made by the Government on these dates, it will be changed accordingly.

Common Academic Calendar 2023-24 

The Common Academic Calendar 2023-24 for Government Universities-Colleges of the State has been announced by the Education Department of the State Government. Accordingly, the new academic session will start from June 06 and colleges will start online only. The Diwali vacation will be from 09.11.2023 to 29.11.2023. The academic calendar does not give any instructions on when to take the semester exams.

Instructions on Examination:

The above exams have to be taken as follows.

1. Any reduction in the curriculum of standard-9 to 12 for academic year 2022-23 Will not be done.

2. There will be a course from June to September for the first examination of standard-9 to 12.

3. There will be a complete course for the preliminary examination of standard-10 and 12.

4. There will be a course from June to January to January for the second examination of Standard 9 and 11. There will be 5% of the curriculum from June to September and 5% of the curriculum from October to January. 

5. Examination of the Board of Standards 10 and 12 as well as the Annual Examination of Standard 9 and 12There will be a complete course for. 

6. For all of the above exams, the examination system, which is implemented from academic year 2019-20, will remain unchanged. There will be no change in the examination method
