Now a days having license is good thing. In earlier days this was applied by agent, but now it become so easy to apply for driving license from home & you can do it by your self.

Follow these step while applying and get your driving license easily :

1. Application form :

For applying for new driving license, you must have an application for a learning license.

The applicant should apply online to get a learning and driving license. Form no. Medical certificate has to be submitted as form1 (a). 2. Here is the Eligibility criteria for new Driving license :

To get gear less two-wheeler license your age must have  16 years or above.

for two-wheeled vehicles, motorcars, tractors and other non-transport vehicles with gears.

you must have completed 18 years or above rather than you are not eligible for this

 

The person must have completed 20 years of age for the transport vehicle. In addition, he should have passed Std. 8 and should have one year experience in driving light weight vehicles.

3. Required documents :

Proof of age: school leaving certificate, birth certificate, passport.

Proof of Address: School Leaving Certificate, Passport, Aadhar card,  Voter Identity Card, Light Bill, Telephone Bill.

4. Fees :

Learning license and driving license fees must be paid simultaneously. To get a learning license, Rs. 50 test fee plus Rs. 150 per vehicle category is required.

Smart card is required to give Rs.200 for driving license and Rs.300 per category of vehicles for driving license.

5. Method of examination :

To get a learning license, it is necessary to pass a knowledge test from a computer.Topics like policy rules, traffic signage are included in the test.The test will ask 15 questions, 11 of which need to be answered correctly.

You will have 48 seconds to answer each question.A person who fails the test can appeal for the test again after 24 hours.

Anyone who has a learning license or a driving license can apply to add an additional range of vehicle to the current driving license, exempted from taking a knowledge test on a computer.

It is mandatory to take a driving test to get a permanent driving license.Anyone with a learning license can take a driving test at any time after a 30-day period.The test will be taken on the type of vehicle as per the driving license applying.

The learning license will be valid for 6 months only, so the applicant will have to appear for the driving test only during this valid period.
