The probe into the Mundra drugs case reached Delhi, Noida, followed by a series of raids and raids for the last two days. The Union Finance Ministry said in a statement that more than 16 kg of heroin was seized from Delhi. So far, a total of 3004 kg of heroin drugs have been seized in the investigation attached to this chapter. The investigation also found a quantity of cocaine and suspected heroin. Thus, the total value of the seized amount has crossed Rs 22,000 crore, the sources said.

The Gandhidham branch of the Directorate of Revenue Intelligence, in a historic operation at Mundra Port, seized 2988 kg of heroin from two containers on 13/09. Which came from the port of Kandahar in Afghanistan via the port of Abbas in Iran. Investigations were carried out in New Delhi, Noida, Chennai and other places on the basis of all the links connected with this chapter. 16.1 kg of heroin was recovered from a godown in Delhi. Along with this, 10.2 kg of suspected cocaine and 11 kg of suspected heroin were also seized from a residential house in Noida.


In the ongoing investigation in this direction, the importer firm Aashi Trading Pvt. Lee. The owner couple Sudhakar and Vaishali have been rushed to Bhuj Jail. A total of eight Indians, including four Afghan nationals, one Uzbek national and two importers, have been arrested so far, according to the latest leaked details.

How many consignments have passed through this importer party and this declaration after the seizure of drugs from Mundra. In any case, the top-down probe has been extended to Delhi and its environs on the pretext that thousands of crores of drugs may have been smuggled.


Drug-related investigations in 8 cities across the country

The DRI had conducted search operations in Gandhidham, New Delhi, Noida, Chennai, Coimbatore, Ahmedabad, Mandvi and Vijayawada in the last few days in connection with the drugs seized at Mundra port. There were indications that more search operations would be conducted in the emerging links as the investigation was still going on.

Mundra was declared to have two containers containing unprocessed talcum powder. The amount of powder in both of them was kept in jumbo bags. In which the amount of heroin was kept in the lowest layer of the bags. Investigations have revealed that modus operandi, which can be apprehended by telecoms coming from above, has been used by drug smugglers.
